ABOUT

The Modern Language Experiment is an artist-led contemporary art project based in East London. Dedicated to the development, discussion, contemplation and execution of the changing language of art today, which culminates in art exhibitions, collaborations, talks, seminars and screenings. Part of a three part exhibition, “The Illusion of the Spectator” was a limited edition publication intended to be sold alongside the first exhibition. A collection of essays, the publication consisted of writings from a range of sources. To reflect the academic nature of the publication certain visual odes were used in production.
