Onyedika Tate is a talented fashion she designed the Mudra carabine and was looking to 3D print a limited run.

I shared a previous project for George Fountains Wealth Planning logo that he had 3D printed by Tim Milward at Backface from the model I produced.

Onyedika sent me her design in illustrator with a AI mock-ups, photos of physical 2D models and reference imagery.

From these references I blocked out a model within 3dsmax for discussion on how the fingers should be formed and presenting the whole profile of the carabinier.

Using the block model I subdivided it to add steps for the fingers, holes for the clips, finger nails and bevels. Making sure that the final model was clean and water tight for 3D printing.
