ABOUT
In summer 2019, blood cancer charity Anthony Nolan were looking to explore an exciting new opportunity to recruit stem cell donors to their register: music festivals. Alongside a designer, I created The Herofinder campaign, which inspired festival-goers to sign up and save a life. This is now a successful pop-up campaign used at a range of summer music festivals such as Tramlines, 2000trees, Wilkestock and Boardmasters.
To deliver this, we produced a suite of eye-catching materials which would help volunteers attract interest and coax festival-goers to the charity pitch. These included music-inspired hold up banners which played with the hero messaging to create intrigue.
We also created stamps and wristbands which enabled people to self-identify as heroes and promote to others at the festival. Taking the campaign online, we created message boards for festival-goers to hold up in photos which could be posted on social media and shared among friends and family.
