From Mozambique to St. Helena Island: creative collaboration. We all live in and share the same planet, here on St. Helena the same island. Our resources are finite. We cannot keep using up all the resources we have leaving nothing behind for our children and our children’s children. When we can use materials that have already used resources, why not do that? And why not reuse to create amazing new things. Imagine what can happen when we combine reusing with creativity. The art of recycle focuses on a single reuse - reusing paper to create sculptures of incredible beauty that we not only look at, but can use. The art of recycle combines not only principles of reuse and creativity, but also really develops the concept that we are all part of this. Anselmo Pelembe and Woody Stevens have worked with the trainees at shape. They are all leading the way in show casing the art of recycle to the island and to the world.
