About me

Dear Madam, Sir,

I am currently an Art Director employed with Warren Group — a US based firm — but work and live in London. I have over 4.5 years of design and art directing experience, and I have 3 years of experience in art directing photo shoots. I am currently handling projects from magazine and brochure design — for which I art direct photography, commission illustrators and design the layouts — to identity and corporate collateral. I am very fluent in Quark, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. I enjoy dealing directly with clients/vendors and oversee projects from start to completion.

Having an international background has helped me adapt in various creative environments: I was born in Holland but lived and worked in San Francisco, Los Angeles and London.

I have a lot of experience with literature design which requires good layout skills and a thorough understanding of continuity, consistency and brand reinforcement throughout publications. I really enjoy this field of work and love working with other people. I find working in a dynamic team, paying attention to detail and the use of good typography essential for successful output.
