About me

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing this letter to introduce myself to you and display my knowledge and skills that make me perfect for the role of Project Manager.

I have obtained an Upper Second class degree in BSc Honours Computer Science. I am pursuing a career in the digital industry that will allow me to exhibit the diverse set of skills I have inherited in studies and in employment.

Currently, I am the Lead Project Manager for a small digital startup company called Curly Braces Tech. I have the responsibility to manage a project from the beginning to the end. I am involved in the project from the proposed idea right to the deliverance. It is my job to ensure that all client requirements are met within specific deadlines. I use tools such as JIRA to manage and keep track of each stage in a project, so that every single detail is attended to. I am also the main point of contact between both my team and the client. Communication and organisation is paramount in what I do to ensure that I know exactly what is going on throughout a project's life cycle. This certifies that the project is of a high quality and completed in the time scope presented.

Previously, I have gained a similar experience whilst completing an internship at boutique digital agency. During this internship, I assisted in managing projects, as well as taking part in developing them. This enabled me to get an insight and understanding of both a developers and a project manager's perspective. These past placements alongside my university degree has broadened my knowledge and given me first hand experience on how the digital industry works.

I take a logical approach to every task I am given and have a keen eye for detail. I can perform with my own initiative as well as part of a team and will strive to do my best at all times.
