This project was created as part of the WEX Ambassador Campaign and offers a behind-the-scenes look at my portrait photography process, with a strong focus on representation and equity. The brief was to share how and why I work the way I do, highlighting my mission to challenge conventional beauty standards and promote inclusivity within the industry. The goal was to inspire others to see photography not just as an art form, but as a powerful tool for social change.

My approach to this campaign was rooted in authenticity and advocacy. I wanted to be transparent about my process, from choosing subjects to directing a shoot, while also addressing the deeper reasons behind my work. Portraiture, for me, is about giving space to underrepresented voices and challenging the narrow ideals that often dominate visual culture. This campaign was an opportunity to show how that vision translates into both practice and purpose.

The final video blends behind-the-scenes footage with honest reflections on my values and creative approach. It walks viewers through the way I engage with my subjects, emphasising respect, collaboration, and empowerment. The portraits featured are soft, expressive, and intentional, each one reinforcing the message that beauty exists far beyond mainstream norms.

Conceptually, the project centers on equity, representation, and the social responsibility of visual artists. In execution, it captures the heart of my process and the motivation behind it. The result is a campaign that not only showcases my work but encourages others, especially emerging photographers, to rethink how they see, represent, and uplift others through their lens.
