This project was part of a global campaign for the Leica D-Lux 8 camera, where I had the unique opportunity to work both in front of and behind the camera. True to my mission, I continued my commitment to inclusive representation and storytelling.

The Leica D-Lux 8 is a versatile, user-friendly camera that brings the timeless Leica experience into a compact, accessible format. Known for its iconic design, intuitive interface, and exceptional image quality, the D-Lux 8 offers photographers a way to explore creativity with ease and precision. Leica selected a diverse group of photographers from around the world, each with a distinct style, to showcase what this camera can do, and I was honoured to represent the UK in this collaboration.

My approach emphasised authentic moments and genuine connection, using the D-Lux 8 to capture the unique stories and personalities of my subjects. This campaign not only highlights the camera’s capabilities but also reinforces the idea that powerful storytelling and inclusion can come in all forms and formats.

Conceptually, this project bridges cutting-edge technology with a human-centered vision of photography. In execution, it leverages the D-Lux 8’s compact design and exceptional quality to create intimate, impactful portraits. The result is a campaign that celebrates both innovation and diversity, showing that great photography is about who you capture as much as the tools you use.
