To Whom It May Concern

I am writing to apply for the role of freelance sub-editor as advertised on Creativepool.

I am an experienced sub-editor and writer who is now freelance after working for six years at the Daily Mail. I worked in a number of departments at the Mail, including Femail and Good Health, and I was also part of the team who created and launched the paper's groundbreaking iPad app Mail Plus.

I have since subbed news and features at various publications including The Independent, Metro and Time Out London. I am highly competent in Adobe Design Publishing Suite, with advanced skills in InDesign, InCopy, Bridge and Photoshop.

Working at these different publications means I am skilled at learning and adhering to specific house styles. My years of sub-editing have furnished me with excellent attention to detail and I am a stickler for spelling, grammar and punctuation.
