About me

I am a freelance copywriter and translator based in Italy. Between 2008 and 2016 I lived in London, where I graduated in Photographic Arts from the University of Westminster and worked in photography and film, including an internship at Vertigo Films. Following this, I worked at Prince Charles Cinema, an arthouse cinema where film screenings and events are held.

Upon my return to Italy, I covered an event manager position for the cultural association Didime90, promoting and managing events and working as a social media manager. In the last few years, I collaborated as a project manager and content specialist with Scalarly, a digital marketing startup based in Milan, while working on my personal photography projects.

I have also worked as a freelance translator for several years. My first job was translating financial articles for the website EtherEvolution from English to the Italian language. I have also translated brochures and blog articles and more recently I have worked for Gattopardo, a high-profile Sicilian magazine, translating articles from Italian to the English language.

In 2019 have achieved a master's in Marketing and Communication with Sole 24 Ore Business School and completed the following courses: "Transmedia Storytelling", "Strategy of Content Marketing" and "Copywriting Figure, Conversazioni, Pubblicità" from Scuola Holden, in order to add complementary skills to my profile.

Written and visual communication are my greatest passions and I would be happy to take on new, exciting projects. The Italian language is my mother tongue and I have an excellent mastery of it. I read, write and translate on a daily basis.

I define myself as creative and tend to get inspiration from different sources. I have extensive knowledge of digital marketing and many years of experience in writing web content, advertising campaigns, articles, reviews, translations, social media editorial plans, crowdfunding campaigns, and academic essays.

I am a very organized individual, I enjoy managing projects, working with deadlines, and giving structure to my work. I have many interests and I'm particularly passionate about film, photography, visual culture, advertising, storytelling, and neuroscience.
