ABOUT
Approached by Kerzner International for a replacement to their existing brand asset management system for their One&Only brand of 7 luxury hotels, this project started with many client discussions to evaluate their requirements for the new site, what they didn't like about their existing site. From this I created a comprehensive scope of work which formed the bible for the design and development for this project along with the brands existing guidelines. Involved in every stage of the project from start to finish the client was so pleased that they re-skinned it for their resort – Atlantis The Palm, Dubai.
The core focus of this site was the technology behind it and the features include multiple user levels for different access, multiple size download options which via an e-commerce style basket are zipped on the fly for downloading, advanced search, Secure login and password recovery. Each resort has it's own section with key contact details and resort information The site has been built to allow for more hotels to be added and currently there are 5 new hotels in the pipeline to be added.
The system has been live for 6 years and has proved indispensable to the client which is why the site will be fully modernised over the next 18 months. Over 1500 users have download images 150,000 times since launch and they have on average visited 86 different pages.
