ABOUT
Background
An experiment in live, social TV. Can of Worms asked controversial questions (worms) to a studio audience, celebrity panel and the live viewing public covering topics such as political correctness, personal values and our unending capacity to make life complicated. The show was then shaped by the live social feed taking comments from studio participants and also the viewing public.
Brief
Creative an online social destination to easily allow a broad watching audience to participate live and after the show airs.
Execution
Twitters short interactive nature would allow the audience to comment quickly and easily whilst Facebook would become the hub for both the twitter comments and the post show debate. The live TV delivery of social stats, regional variations and related content would provoke both competition and continued interaction from the participating audience.
The “worms” are designed to provoke and as such the design is bold, confrontational and angular.
