While my work is mainly in comedy, I have a creative mind and enjoying bringing ideas and solutions to any creative project that I become involved in. I was recently a freelance video editor at Don't Panic and LADbible - with clients such as Greenpeace, Unicef, M&Ms, Boots and KP, showing I am able to work commercially and on a number of different style projects.
I have been video editing for 15 years now, and my experience and eye for detail, coupled with artistic background have given me the tools needed to create successful and appealing content.
Since I finished my Masters, I have been writing comedy - for Channel 4 and the BBC, among others. A short series called 'The Art of Foley' is now playing on Channel 4's ALL 4 at the moment, and an animation series I created, called 'Wolf Jenkins: Vietnam Vet' is on BBC Three Online.
While also animating and editing I have developed exceptional skills on Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects and Flash, and Apple Final Cut Pro, Final Draft and the Microsoft package and I think I would be perfect for your project.
While working on different projects that have been broadcast in the past few years, I have learnt to build and maintain relationships with clients and co-workers is something I feel confident in dealing with day to day. In addition to this, creating and controlling my own projects has also meant having to be responsible for other people and over the years I have gathered some managerial experience of designers/illustrators and animators.
Having others work on my projects has also made me sensitive to upholding the look and feel of the project without trying to put my artistic stamp on it, if this is something that is not required of me. But if the same time, if that is what's required I'm happy to also do this!
