Commission to write and direct a music video for a track from the recent Scaramanga Silk album 'Designer Scribble' called Life In The Faslow Lane’.

The video is based from an initial idea I had before the commission about an abstract scribble walking down the street, when the label approached me I instantly felt the concept was right for this track. I wanted the video to feel funny, random and yet slightly disturbing. The design of “Mr Scribble”, as we called him on set, takes some cues from the Designer Scribble album cover, which also features in the video as the drawing on the floor. The “transformation” scene took some influence from horror film werewolf and ghost possession sequences but ultimately taking a more glitchy aesthetic, to keep with the style of the track, which uses a mix of both in camera and post production effects.
