Andrew Baxter is CEO of Publicis Worldwide Australia, one of the country's largest communications agencies. He is also a member of the Publicis Worldwide Global Management Board.
Andrew has worked with many of Australia's most iconic brands over two decades at Publicis, Ogilvy and Y&R. And he's held a number of significant Board roles at The Song Room, Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Melbourne Aces, Lord Mayor's Charitable Foundation, Deakin Business School and the Communications Council.
Since joining Publicis is mid-2014, Andrew has led the agency through a period of considerable growth, with the launch of digital agency Nurun, innovation business Drugstore, and creative hotshop Marcel Sydney. The last 12 months has seen the agency launch acclaimed global campaigns for Tiger Beer as well as Unicef, and popular local campaigns for Luxottica's OPSM and L'Oreal's Garnier.
Prior to taking charge of Publicis Worldwide Australia Andrew was CEO of Ogilvy Australia for three years, leading the group through its most successful period that saw the creation of one of the world's most visible brand communications campaigns Share a Coke for Coca-Cola.
Andrew also regularly writes about the future of marketing, in a world where both consumers and technology are ever-evolving, and is the marketing columnist for the country's national newspaper, The Australian. He is one of LinkedIn's Top 40 Australian influencers, and recognised by Campaign magazine as one of the Top 5 Agency Heads in Australia and New Zealand.
