Interesting Fact: Daniel Ricciardo (a formula one racing driver) always wears an image of a honey badger at the back of his helmet in every race. The honey Badger is a cute discreet animal that when disturbed it unleashes terror on its opponent – and thats how Daniel likes to describe himself.

I designed a series of ideas but in particular favoured this design the most. The Logo mark incorporates simple, fast and streamline strokes, forming a silhouette of the honey badger with a ‘barrier’ in front of it to connote DR’s determination and will to always win. At the same time, I have managed to very subtly incorporate his initials (if seen close) that organically gave the logo its shape whilst finally complimenting the logo with the colours based on his roots – the Australian flag.
