This was filmed in a women prison in Illinois, USA where the warden had an unconventional way of rehabilitating prisoners and running the facility. All the women featured were sentenced to lifetime sentences for their crimes. I arranged the kit carnet, liaised with the production team on the ground and worked with the shooting director to organise kit from the UK to be brought over, organised with kit houses in Des Moines for additional pieces of equipment and organised for the rushes to be returned to the UK on drives in stages for me to provide review files to be available to the production team in the US. I also synced and transcoded the rushes for preparation of the offline edit. I then liaised with the post production house, composer and director to make sure all files were present in all stages of post.
