About me
My name is Andrew Briggs, and I'm a photographer, director, and creative director from Perth, Australia, specialising in the music industry. I blend digital and analogue processes to create unique and authentic visuals, working across photography, videography, and creative direction.
I've directed, filmed, and edited countless music videos and short-form content from digital to 16mm film, and have extensive experience on the road documenting live tours. In 2024, I shot content for Dust on Interpol's European arena tour, and recently covered Old Mervs' 2025 USA tour as photographer and videographer—travelling 12,000km across 22 shows, including Lollapalooza—followed by their Aus/New Zealand album tour. I've also worked as part of the Laneway Festival video team filming artists such as Beabadoobee, and Fcukers. I've also acted as tour manager and provided social media management and creative direction for multiple national tours and music releases.
I've collaborated directly with artists, promoters, PR companies, artist management, and record labels, producing work that has been featured in Rolling Stone Australia, ABC's RAGE, NME, and Triple J.
Beyond creative work, I've developed strong organizational and communication skills through years of volunteering at Uni Camp for Kids, a summer internship at 6 Degrees Investor Relations, and a semester-long marketing and communications internship at St Patrick's Community Support Centre.
Having graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and Management, I've relocated to London to take the next step in my career—learning from and contributing to the work of more experienced professionals and organisations in the UK creative industry.
