In 2013 KitKat landed a global PR coup by being chosen as the name of version 4.4 of Google's mobile OS, Android. Their Creative Agency, JWT, also achieved significant success with their award winning videos celebrating the launch: Android KITKAT 4.4 - The future of confectionery

Two years later KitKat UK came directly to the ZOO with an exciting brief: how could we echo that success with the imminent launch of new YouTube branded KitKat bars (which we helped push through)? How could we partner to celebrate breaks together?

Our answer: "YouTube My Break", a mobile first idea which positions KitKat as the gateway to today's trending videos on YouTube.

A breaker picks up their phone and performs a Google voice search for "YouTube my break". What comes top is a KitKat 'bumper' video which leads users directly to a curated list of that days top YouTube videos. No more hunting around for what's new, KitKat finds it for you.
