About me

I have been in the POS Printing trade for 16 years and have worked in many departments from print floor to

production office. I have a excellent knowledge of Litho, Screen and Digital processes. At my last

employment I was a pre-press mac operator, digital operator and trainee CAD Engineer.

As a mac operator my duties included:

- creating artworks from a clients brief

- checking artworks for press and flagging any issues

- planning artworks imposition for transfer to CTP

- calibration checking of proofing equipment

As a digital operator my duties included:

- complex planning of jobs for digital output to a Columbia Inca digital press

- colour adjustments within RIP software to match pre-printed litho sheets

- general finishing duties

I have recently completed a 3 day course at Arden Software training on Impact v5. I have also been trained

on and used a Zund L3000 plotting table to cut FSDU and counterpack samples.
