Hi,

I am writing to apply for the Freelance Project Manager position advertised on your website. Ive worked as a Project Manager for global video game company Electronic Arts for 3 years, making sure software was delivered to carriers at the highest standard. Ive worked closely with sales executives and account managers from Orange, Vodafone, T-Mobile, HTC and LG.

During my time at EA I have coordinated a development team of thirty software developers and quality assurance testers on day and night shifts. My responsibilities included organizing meetings or teleconferencing with clients in order to update them on the state of the projects and drawing up status reports on bandwidth allocation and resource management , as well as interfacing with development staff in order to put out fires, remove blockers and make sure bugs were fixed and verified in a timely manner.

I left EA to follow a new-found passion for photography, which is when I started work at the Colors Art gallery. I was responsible for creating marketing material (invites to exibitions, flyers, business cards, photographing the exhibits and posting them online), but also in charge of organizing the opening night and liaising with suppliers and contractors.

At the moment Im also running my own event photography and photo retouching business, Andreea Alexandru Photography, being the sole employee and managing everything related to the bussines, from taxes to marketing (designed and created my own website and marketing campains on facebook, twitter, though at the moment I have a low budget for that).

I'm currently looking to get back into project management, but with a creative bent and your agency seems like a great fit. Thank you for considering me and I look forward to hearing from you.
