CancerCare is an application addressing the continuos-care cycle for cancer patients at any level of severity. The UX research focused on creating a dual experience coupling the ‘analytical’ and clinical UI for the service providers with the ‘emotional’ UI for the patient. The ‘analytical’ UI focused on capturing clinical data points along the care cycle to improve service and outcome. While the emotional UI provides an emotional space for the patient with resources, journal, experience-sharing with patient groups and family. A separate mobile app follows the patient at home to capture self-assessments data while not in the medical facility.
