I believe that is quite challenging to define all the different kind of bread in the world, every nation have his own traditions and recipes. In St. Petersbourg they believe so much in it that they create a museum and launched a graphic competition about the bread. I have to say that I am a fan of the sandwich and I decided to participate with a couple of posters that describes two different stories of ‘progress’ and ‘evolution’. The first, Bread making machines, follows the production of the bread from the grain to the shelves of the bakery. The other, Taste of bread, represent the history of the man that, from the dawn of the humanity, have the problem of what to eat for the lunch break (problem solved with the bread invention), no matter if they were in the ancient Egypt trying to build the pyramids or if they are floating in the space. I’m very happy to say that the two poster has been selected for the Biennale exhibition in St. Petersbourg!
