About me

I'm a Portuguese designer, my main goal is to (re)design objects, by emphasizing cultural heritage, craftsmanship and upcycling.

Lobo Marinho is my brainchild, a brand focused on both menswear and industrial design. It is a product design agency with an unconventional approach to the development of functional pieces, mixing craftsmanship processes with new production technologies such as 3D printing. For that reason it works closely together with several workshops which have the highest standards of quality and know-how when it comes to handcrafted techniques. It gives us the opportunity to preserve cultural heritage while also taking advantage of the new additive manufacturing which can provides us with 3D-printed parts - easily replaced - made of low-impact and recyclable materials. In the end it's all about maintaining a legacy and try to contribute to a most needed circular economy in contrast with the current linear one which is indeed a model of wasteful production.

In the studio we create product/industrial design pieces from scratch and take care of all the production chain for specific solutions, on a custom based mindset. Furthermore we aim to deliver long lasting objects which are best suitable for each project in order to develop unique interpretations, to further engage in a constructive relationship with our clients.

We are definitely open-minded for new projects, so if you feel like we could be a great match please contact us though our website!
