About Anastasya
I'm an experienced designer, illustrator, 2D animator and Social Media manager. I've worked in media (eNCA and New Frame), for book publishers (Jacana, Pan Macmillan and NB Books) and with various
NGOs (ILRIG, Amnesty International, NOSH Food Rescue, Green Peace and Red Cross). I also have experience in the fields of advertising, education and more. I've illustrated a children's book for Wimpy restaurants, which is distributed in branches across South Africa. I run social media campaigns, write news articles and features, take photographs and create video content. I've won awards for animating illustrated sequences for news videos, and for my online graphics designs.
My strengths include creativity and passion for my work. I'm strong conceptually and, while I'm a team player, I can carry a project on my own. I work hard, deliver quickly and thrive under the pressure of a deadline. Technology changes fast. I enjoy keeping up, learning new skills. I'm happy to put in extra hours
to ensure the client is happy with the results. I take pride in the work I create.
I've dedicated a large part of my life to activism and volunteer work. This includes outreaches, activism groups and even art classes for underprivileged schools. I also do art therapy, as well as design programs for workshops and facilitate them. I'm looking for an opportunity to work on new creative solutions in a full-time or part-time role. My work is my passion. And I'm ready to share my energy and creativity with you.
