ABOUT

Concept: A premium retrospective campaign film commissioned by Deutsche Telekom to celebrate the 20th anniversary milestone of their influential music, nightlife, and subculture journalism platform, Electronic Beats. The creative objective was to craft a deeply atmospheric, nostalgic, yet modern visual tapestry that honors two decades of club culture, electronic music evolution, and community identity.

Execution: Produced under OffShoot Berlin in partnership with the creative agency Looping Group, the film relies heavily on rich, late-night contrast states and intimate portraiture. I collaborated closely with Director of Photography Jonas Kolahdoozan and Gaffer Timo Bevacqua to establish a moody, high-end editorial texture under a production design built by Jens Jech. The visual cadence spans striking subcultural styling by Rachel Colless and makeup by Caterina Veronesi. In the post-production stage, the film was rhythmically cut by editor Patrick Fass at Herzschuss Agentur, backed by a dense sound design from Robert Dietz at Studio Teiwas, and finished with a custom color grade from Mai Lasan at sec color.

Results: The campaign film spearheaded Telekom Electronic Beats' major international anniversary rollout, generating widespread acclaim across global electronic music and lifestyle design networks. It stands as a cornerstone portfolio asset demonstrating an innate capacity to translate dense musical heritage and authentic underground nightlife history into a premium, corporate-backed cinematic legacy piece.
