Dear Sir/madam,

I am extremely interested in the position you are advertising and have a lot of experience in interior design and most recently have been working with interior designers Eicker & Houghton. A recent project was a beautiful house in Panama. Eicker and Houghton initially saw my surface designs and ideas in a shop on London's Pimlico Rd a couple of years ago and have been loyal clients ever since. I work with them to complete properties all over the world, recently featured on the cover of House & Garden magazine. I am given a brief and shown the space and the client has great confidence in my work so much so that I am left freely to design key decorative pieces. I am a skilled draughtsman and so I have a superb visual understanding of space and ways to use it. I have just completed a job designing a independent bookshop in the Cotswolds that is being dubbed to be the most unique bookshop in the country. I am fashion and fine art trained and have worked with furniture makers and antique dealers so I have a broad knowledge for my age, importantly I have maturity beyond my years. I believe that my experience in many fields enables me to be a good designer as I consider absolutely everything right down to the finest of details. I enjoy the ever changing briefs as it challenges me and to collaborate with changing fashion trends would be even more rewarding.
