ABOUT
Try it for yourself - say "Hey Google, talk to Safari Mixer."
Challenge: Google asked us to showcase what’s possible when we bring open-ended, natural conversation into games, music, storytelling and more. Using Google’s AI tools, we wanted to make it easier for developers to create new voice experiences that work on devices such as Google Home, the Google Assistant App on the phone, or even right in the browser.
Response: We created Safari Mixer - an interactive Google Action that lets you invent a brand new animal by combining the head, body, and legs of other animals through voice and visuals. Simply tell Safari Mixer which animals you want to combine, then see (and hear) your creations come to life.
Results: Successfully launched at SXSW as part of the Google Fun House, Safari Mixer has helped people create 24,000 animated animals to date and counting. We even saw Matthew McConaughey create one! And with an open code, we are helping developers understand how to make creative Google Assistant Actions globally. I also spoke on Google's SXSW panel about 'Exploring the boundaries of creativity with Google Assistant'.
