About me

I have looked on your website and found a vacancy in Leeds which I am interested in; Typesetter/Artworker (Company ref: 893. Job ref: GLO/EN35156/JN56). I feel that my ability to pick up new skills very quickly and my dedication to any task in hand make me a suitable candidate for this role. Once I have been shown something new, I am able to carry the responsibility with little supervision because I am very self-motivated. My previous experience ranges from information technology and publishing to working with people both directly and via telephone/email. Being a part of a team, large or small, comes very naturally to me whether through sport, study or work. I am now looking for a new challenge and new people to meet through a different career direction.

My father is a reprographics manager and I have shadowed him so I have a natural appreciation of good design and layout. I have had previous typesetting jobs through his company and have worked with Macs for many years now (but am also competent with PCs). I believe I have the qualities you are looking for in the role since I am a perfectionist and thrive under pressure.
