I was approached by UK start-up company Handy Spelling to design their mascot and illustrate their set of children's stationery which cleverly organise spelling and grammar to make literacy easier. Each product is designed to be clear, colourful, joyful and useful.

Whether a child is dyslexic, learning English as a foreign language or simply hasn’t yet mastered spelling, Handy products give an instant, visual reminder of the most frequently confused words. We know confidence in writing improves when children aren’t worried about their spelling.

Our Handy character has been designed to make learning not just clear and fun but memorable too. All products use a dyslexia-friendly font and layout, and every Handy pencil works for left and right-handed kids.
