Made to our patent-pending design, this is a beautifully constructed limited edition book-based box set containing 14 DVDs in a book format. At only 38mm thick, and exactly the same flat size as a standard DVD case with a double page spread for each DVD, this is a great way of presenting limited edition sets.

This example has a magnetic flap at the opening edge of the book to provide protection for the DVDs. It also has a two-colour foiled, cloth-lined cover, although we are able to make flush soft covers if required.

The internal book construction is similar to a children's board book, but with the DVDs held within the thickness of each page. The pages open all the way to the spine (unlike less attrctive "wallet" style books), and the pages themselves are of solid construction with a slot at the opening edge of the page of perfect size and thickness to contain a DVD or CD. Because we use a solid construction the book will always sit flat and square with or without the DVDs inside. Our construction is superior to other similar (solid style) designs available due to the different layers being glued all the way up to the edges of the page and the DVD recess within, giving a much neater finish and meaning the DVDs are held snugly within the book.

The book resembles exactly that, a book. Conventionally bound (saddle stitched, singer sewn, section sewn, PUR or perfect bound) pages can be incorporated if required. This examples contains 14 DVDs however there is no potential limit to capacity other than one of practicality with regard to the finished thickness. This example shows insertion on the opening edge, one disc per page, however we can construct with openings on the top edge, or opening edge, or both, at differnt pages sizes with multiple discs per page if required.
