One photograph, every day for one year. Four-hundred and fourteen text pages with external covers boards and cloth spine, this book documents a full year of portraits by photographer Marcus Iglauer and is designed by Studio 91, London E2

The bulk of the text section is printed indigo 210screen onto Naturalis Matt Absolute White from GF Smith. Endleaves, divider pages (one for each month), maps and appendices are printed indigo black only onto Colorplan Factory Yellow with some areas highlighted in six hits of indigo white. The cover is Colorplan Factory Yellow 350gsm, spine is Winter & Co Finesse Yellow digitally printed black only, cover boards are 2000mic high density greyboard with matt black foil applied to front and back faces.

This is a book of real substance, the uncluttered design allows the photography and materials to do the work. Indigo printing produces wonderfully punchy results on uncoated materials, more so than conventional litho (although LED and UV litho, if colour managed well, can produce similarly great colours). We have found Naturalis and Mohawk to be particularly well suited to colour reproduction using indigo presses, and at 210screen the benefits are even more pronounced.

We love the simplicity of this book and weighing in at 4.5lb or nearly 2kg it's a very substantial and memorable piece of work.
