This 28 page children's book was illustrated in my usual style, with a few exceptions. This was the first book where the main characters were inanimate objects come to life, so I transformed a Torah scroll and Cover into expressive and endearing characters using only their big eyes and eyebrows. In addition, I illustrated all the humans in the book with simple black dots for eyes so that the contrast would highlight the emotion in the main characters. Truly a challenge, but the author loved the results. This took about 4 months to complete and was self-published by the author with my guidance and support using Ingramspark.
