About me

I am a working Fine Artist with a focus on traditional and experimental process. I am a lover of antiques, ancient architecture and traditional paintings and recognise the influence of history and personal memory whilst creating in the present. I am working with a twist on traditional methods and equipment such as unique combinations of materials and unusual technical devices and techniques. This allows the mediums themselves to reveal form and textures that are at once familiar and strange.
The resulting works invite the viewer to look closely and hopefully question the value, source and history of the Piece and the Medium. My latest works have lead to a solo exhibition in the city of Chester and an award for fine art career promise along with a First in my Fine Art (BA hons).
I have my own studio and am currently expanding my sculptural pieces into large scale and figurative work whilst commissions for smaller framed sculptures are also in demand.
