ABOUT
BRIEF:
To provide a high level introduction to AlphaSights, communicating who we are and what we do in an engaging, memorable way.
CONCEPT:
We follow the journey of a knowledge wave from start to finish on a project, illustrating how our network is constantly growing, adapting, and evolving to meet our clients’ specific knowledge needs. The video would show the wide range of industries, locations and experts we work with, as well highlight the additional services AlphaSights offers beyond just phone calls.
EXECUTION:
We had planned to film a consumer facing advert, which would combine live action footage with 3D motion graphics, to illustrate who AlphaSights are and improve understanding of what our 'hero' wave graphic represents (curated knowledge and insights from the best experts around the globe).
The plan had been to utilise a combination of original and stock footage before adding the wave and other motion graphics in post production. The ultimate vision had been for the video to act as a flagship marketing asset for AlphaSights, appearing not only on all their public facing platforms (website, social media channels, etc), but also as a national TV and digital advert.
RESULTS:
A final script and budgets were approved, early storyboards produced, and demos that showed how the wave would animate created, before the project was ultimately pulled due to a change in strategy. Hopefully it will resurface in some guise further down the road, but for now it sadly remains on the cutting room floor.
