ABOUT
Chorus is a pioneering English sparkling beer, conceived and brewed in the New Forest by Baynhams Brewery.
The project began with a fundamental challenge: to define a new category. The product sits between beer and sparkling wine—requiring a language that could reconcile craft brewing with the rituals and cues of Champagne, without defaulting to either.
The name Chorus was developed to express conviviality and shared experience—a collective voice, a moment brought together. This idea underpins the entire identity.
The visual language draws from the brewery’s provenance in the New Forest. The label and trees are screen-printed directly onto the bottle, embedding a sense of place into the object itself. This is paired with copper foil detailing, chosen to reflect the beer’s natural amber tone while introducing a subtle reference to premium sparkling wine finishes.
Material and production were integral to the outcome. By printing directly onto glass, the design avoids the ephemerality of labels and creates a more permanent, crafted presence—elevating the product beyond conventional beer packaging.
The result is a deliberately balanced identity: one that holds the familiarity of beer alongside the refinement of fine wine, establishing Chorus as a new expression of what beer can be.
Sparkling, complex, and designed for the table, the toast, and shared moments.
