Create-Zine is back with a printed collection of global illustration, printmaking, art, graphic design, craft and typography. The fifth SS/19 edition is a hand-selected assortment of only the best emerging and well-established talent.

Life as a freelance image-maker can be tough, isolating and darn right challenging. Create Zine acts as a spotlight for the talent to help the artists get their work seen by our creative community audience. Delivered free to the professionals who commission artwork in advertising, design, publishing and editorial, our goal is to spark an idea and lead to future commissions for the artists featured.

Choosing print over online as a platform, founders Beazley and McCarthy wanted to make the zine physically sharable in the hope that art departments at agencies and studios will pass it on and share it with their colleagues. They have intentionally stepped away from the traditional hardback art directories, where anything goes, and have carefully curated each page.

The pair have chosen an inspiring collection of mural art, character design, editorial illustration, branding campaigns, surface design, typography and fashion, to showcase.
Readers and viewers can also expect in-depth features, interviews and introductions with South Korean artist Jiyeun.K, French duo My Name Is Wendy, character designer Mark Gmehling, illustrator Johan Papin and digital collage artist Luis Toledo
