About me

My name is Alicia Molina and I am 28 years old. I am a Spanish native speaker, holding a BA (hons) in Journalism and an MA in Spanish American Literature.

Since my early childhood I have always been in close contact with foreign languages, particularly with English and French. I received a bilingual (English-Spanish) primary and secondary education at the British Council School of Madrid. Later on, during my university degree, I took part in the Erasmus Exchange Program, having the privilege of studying for one year at the Charles de Gaulle University-Lille 3, in Lille, France.

Because of my love for other cultures, in 2009 I moved to Paris, where I started to work both as a Spanish tutor and a translator (ENGLISH-SPANISH, FRENCH-SPANISH). For the past three years I have tutored students of all ages (children, teenagers and adults) and levels and have combined my teaching career with intermittent jobs as a translator.

I am passionate about languages, teaching, translation and literature. Besides I have good communicative and listening skills and I am fluent in Spanish, French and English.

Skills

I have three years of substantial experience in teaching students of all ages and levels and therefore have the ability to give self tailored lessons. In 2009 I did a pedagogical training course having enhanced since then my teaching techniques and pedagogical methods., I also hold a MA in Spanish American Literature and so I have a wide knowledge on hispanic culture., Besides I have experience as a translator which I believe makes me a valuable asset for all jobs related to languages and writing, including copywriter jobs., I have a love for languages since I was a child and speak fluently three different ones (Spanish, English, French)., I am enthusiastic, patient and naturally kind. I am also creative as well as practical and realistic., I have good communicative skills and know how to listen to others. Besides I work well with group teams and know how to get along with others.
