ABOUT

Small Talks Kill Small Bears and My Brain is a personal series that visualises the quiet, well-dressed forms of emotional pressure. Each piece explores the “nice” violence hidden in small talk, where seemingly harmless questions—“How are you?” “Have you found a job?”—become tools of erasure, intrusion, and collapse.

It’s about the exhaustion of being polite. The absurdity of performing okay-ness. The weight of expectations disguised as care.

Beneath the bright colours and cartoon softness, something is breaking—and it’s still smiling.
