I'm a social media consultant and copywriter exported from the North East and now based in London. Some people do science, some people do maths - but I'm a person who does words and social media and I like to think I do them pretty well.

I've written for Stylist, Huffington Post, Matalan, Most Wanted and I've created and executed the social media strategies of VoucherCodes, Stretching the City and Crimson Mobile Bars. I created the social media campaign #CheckYourChebs to encourage younger women to check their breasts more frequently after being diagnosed with breast cancer at 26 years old.
I worked at VoucherCodes for almost four years which allowed me to become a competent and highly skilled social media marketing professional who has understanding and experience of managing all social media channels within the business, with a proven track record of strong results. I was responsible for growth and engagement strategies across all social channels, highlights of which include increasing traffic from Pinterest to the VC website 400% in my first three months managing the platform and dramatically increasing engagement on a somewhat stagnated Twitter account. I understand what makes audiences both tick and click and I'm adept at adapting brand voice across platforms to ensure optimum engagement and growth to meet KPI targets.
I'm familiar with managing large budgets, but equally, I'm a dab hand at getting great results from smaller budgets too. I have been solely responsible for the creative content marketing plan at VC for 2015, and have executed the 2014 plan from start to finish - including planning events and developing relationships with key influencers and online PR type campaigns.
As an "ideas" type lady, I'm constantly thinking of creative ways to push social media messaging. I'm a forward thinker who believes in making things happen, I'm always happy to flex in response to changing situations.
