About me

Every design venture is reliant upon the fusion of a broad range of elements to make it a success. I believe that it is the fusion of my skills, qualifications, knowledge and personal attributes that allow me to call myself a designer.

From an early age I studied both the practical and theoretical aspects of design. During my diploma in art and design, I became increasingly aware of and experimental with a broad range of disciplines enabling me to produce an eclectic portfolio of ideas. It was during this time I also realised that my true flair and interest lay in interior design.

My inclination was confirmed during my time at Bournemouth University where I completed a degree in interior design. During this time I learnt how to visualise my concepts using both AUTOCAD and ARCHIICAD and to clearly and concisely present my work using both POWERPOINT and PHOTOSHOP.I feel that my strongest skills are free hand representational drawings and presentation.

My work placement year at Laura Ashley home stores provided me with the chance to apply my understanding of space and only served to reinforce and solidify my conviction of vocation.

My integrity, enthusiasm and sense of humour teamed with my ability to adjust to all working environments, natural creativity and my eloquence when communicating will contribute to and enhance any already established company. Selecting me to be a part of your team would be a decision that you would not regret.
