ABOUT
The main barrier to taking better care of our health in China is the widely adopted “996” work life - working from 9am to 9pm, 6 days a week. This spot sets out to empower working Chinese women to keep track of and manage their health, despite their “996” lifestyle, by highlighting the extensive features of the Apple Watch. We show how Apple Watch enables our hero to improvise throughout the day to take care of her health while keeping the same tempo as everybody else. We build on the term “Di Da” (the Chinese expression of “Tick Tock”), weaving it into song lyrics set to a constant tempo. Everyone lives their life choreographed to the beat, a metaphor for a world where not a single second is allowed to go to waste. All the choreography was shot live, involving over 80 dancers and a month of rehearsals.
