About me

I am the founder of Bravebird, a creative production company partnering with agencies and clients across industries to produce world-class content for emerging and established brands. We recently showcased our short film, "Fantasy in D Minor" at the Cannes Short Film Corner and won Best International Short Film at Oxford.

Before branching out on my own, I was the Co-Founder of Mythos, a full-service video production agency and the Director of Video Production at Blend Marketing. As a former Founder and Director in advertising, I lead the video development for both small and big ideas and worked within a creative team to execute those ideas with innovative and artful cinema. I have experience working in five verticals: technology, tourism, health, food, and education. For over five years I dedicated my work to the rising epidemic of drug addiction in America, documented the preservation of indigenous cultural legacies in the Pacific, and depicted nature restoration efforts on the island of Maui.

My visual style has focused on bringing dignity to people. Over the years, I have honed in on connecting with people through video by focusing on a cinematic language that breathes wonder and hope. My narrative style has received national and international acclaim receiving advertising accolades from the American Advertising Awards and The Creativepool.

For more than 15 years I was a professional actor and had the opportunity to work with Hollywood's elite: Spielberg, Kathleen Kennedy, Michael Preece, Joe Camp, David Koepp and more. As an actor, I worked for PBS, The USA Network, and Universal Studios. I am a recipient of the NCLR ALMA Award for my performance in the TV Mini-Series, Fotonovelas. My experience in acting was very formative in my development as a Director.

Originally a So-Cal kid, I now reside and work in Madison, WI where my wife and I enjoy hiking and watching spectacular sunsets.
