ABOUT

#ORIGIN Is a series of portraits depicting women from different cultural backgrounds. The goal was not to depict a culture directly, so it was important that the symbols and shapes in the designs would be as abstract as possible. Technically the designs are hand drawn with graphite fused with heavy, rough and unpolished digital shards. There is one shard in every portrait that has a unique color and does not match the rest. This represents an evolutionary anomaly.
