Dear Hiring Manager,

I am writing in response to your advertisement for the Graphic Designer position, which I find very interesting ; in fact, I believe that my skills and qualifications match perfectly with the requirements for the position.

I have recently completed a BTS (the French equivalent of an HNC) in Visual Communication, Multimedia Option, at Bellecour School of Arts, in Lyon, and have in addition to this, been working on different projects as a freelance graphic designer. As I am dynamic, highly creative, passionate about image, graphic design and web design, I want to make the best use of my knowledge and skills which I have developed, and put them in use for this position. I am sure my abilities and skills would prove to be an asset to your company !

Currently, I am working as a freelance graphic designer with French bands and organisations on visual identities and logos. When working on these projects, I am able to apply the knowledge from my studies and my own experiences in the creative business and in a work situation.

I feel comfortable working as part of a team or individually, I am highly adaptable and aware of the emerging technologies in new media. These are the reasons why I believe I will make a significant contribution to your team.
