Set in a magical forest, Jax and Goobi is an adventure platform game in the form of a children’s story book with the levels of the game forming the chapters of the book. The player must collect letters in every level to make up the words of the story to proceed in the game.

Aimed at children learning to read, The player is encouraged to play one chapter every night before bed, solving basic puzzles and collecting letters to receive the next part of the story.
Many friendly monsters are encountered along the way teaching the player not to be afraid of the dark. These monsters offer help and tips which the player must read to proceed.

The Game is unique in that in can be read and enjoyed as a story book once all the content has been unlocked upon completion of the chapters.
