About me

My name is Alexandra Nikolova (Ål Nik) and I am an illustrator & visual practitioner based in Europe.

I work and live between Bulgaria and France since I am part of the Nomadways collective (France) and recently graduated History of Art and Theory and Methodology in Art Education (Bulgaria). As a visual practitioner and illustrator my work includes illustration, storytelling and scribing; and I am particularly interested in visual and digital arts, urban environment, cultural changes of the places and social challenges. As part of Nomadways kick-ass team, I design and facilitate artistic training courses and residencies in France (and around Europe) and I take care of our online communication. Since 2020, I am also a contributor to the creative journalism collective Brush & Bow (the United Kingdom).
