Roberto Badin was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He started out as a fashion photographer but quickly went onto find a dimension that inspired him further – studio based still-life photography, where his eye meticulously constructed each stage of an image, whilst conveying an emotion and story.

Roberto’s eye captures clean, graphic and sophisticated imagery that has a cinematographic feel, which allows him to comfortably shoot both stills and moving image. Roberto has photo shoots in London and all over the globe for various worldwide campaigns and works alongside advertising agencies such as TBWA, DDB, Publicis, Ogilvy, Saatchi & Saatchi.

He has always said that the most important part of Still-Life is the life rather than the still part.
