Alex's work

I am a young creative from the Greater Manchester area. I have recently graduated from Manchester School of Art with a BA in Photography. During my studies I focused mainly on documentary style photography as well as turning my hand to some landscape shoots and studio work. As part of my final years work at Manchester Metropolitan University I became quite involved and interested in the art of bookbinding as well as printmaking. The process and mechanics of the whole bookbinding process is fascinating to me and I wouold like to develop my skills in this area as well as in printing/printmaking. As well photography and bookbinding I am very much interested in all types of art and design and feel that most work can be and interpreted and re-interpreted into different media depending on the requirements of a job.
