Dear Sir or Madam,
I would like to apply for the position of Digital Designer as advertised on *.
After qualifying as a journalist and writer, I decided to combine this experience with my pre-existing skills to become a Web Administrator, which I have been for over four years.
In my most recent position at an Electrical Wholesaler, I was responsible for writing and checking content and code on the shopping website, including for 2500 product lines. I also used Search Engine Optimisation and statistical analysis to improve hit rates and reduce pay per click advertising. As well as creating the company's social media presence, I also played a leading role in redesigning and revamping the website, inputting several thousand pieces of information in the process.
Having finished a short holiday break I would like to begin a new challenge, preferably in the Greater London or surrounding area.
I am a hard working, contentious self-starter. I am also educated to postgraduate level with degrees from University College London and Oxford University.
I believe I would make an excellent employee and if selected I would be able to commence employment immediately. If selected I would relocate.
